You have had those chance meetings before; the ones that you know are not merely chance but God-appointed connections with others. It was out of one of these times that the vision for this ministry was born. Denna Busenitz and Wendy McCready bumped into each other at a small town pastor’s conference in the spring of 2016.
As pastor’s wives serving in rural and small town contexts, both of them were looking for encouragement to know that they were not alone as pastor’s wives. Many emails and some phone calls later, Flowers for the Pastor’s Wife began out of the idea that giving flowers to pastors’ wives for special times can help express appreciation and encouragement to them.
We desire that this website and all the resources connected to it be like a bouquet of flowers given to every pastor’s wife who visits as she continues in her role in a rural area, a small-town or any other ministry context. Flowers is a growing network of pastor’s wives serving each other, and we are excited to see the relationships God is building and blessing through this ministry.
